Dr. Smaldone started his career as an athlete involved in activities such as martial arts, wrestling, rock climbing and tennis. His interest in sports led him to Cortland University where he pursued a degree in Athletic Training. As part of his coursework he spent more than 1,000 hours taping, diagnosing and rehabilitating injuries. He has worked teams such as volleyball, gymnastics, basketball, wrestling, softball, track, and football teams. Dr. Smaldone graduated in 2002.

In 2006 Dr. Smaldone graduated from Palmer Chiropractic College, having studied sports chiropractic, emergency care and various chiropractic adjustment techniques.
Dr. Smaldone's complementary education in athletic training and chiropractic care allows him to provide his patients with a variety of therapies to suit their individual needs.

| Dr. Smaldone coaches almost 300 doctors around the country when he is not in the office. He enjoys doing this in his free time. He is a nationally recognized nutritional counselor. In his spare time Dr. Smaldone also tours the country working with some of the world's most famous chiropractors, to teach the doctors of today how to treat common day ailments with natural healing. |
